Founder

Dr. Louis Lorio, known affectionately as Dr. Lou, built a distinguished career as a leading orthopedic surgeon before founding Wellness Patriots—a movement rooted in health, purpose, and giving back.

Joseph Teeling

Managing Partner

Joe Teeling has been in the insurance industry since 1980. He spent 23 years in the Marsh and McLennan Companies. His last position was Vice Chairman of Marsh’s US benefits before leaving the firm to start his own agency, Bearence Management Group. After Bearence was sold to NorthRisk Partners, Joe branched out into real estate development and health tech work.

Scott Prickett

Managing Partner

Scott Prickett has been a licensed insurance professional since 2008, holding active licenses in life, health, and credit insurance. Over the years, he has worked with hundreds of families to help them mitigate the financial risks associated with health crises and loss of life, offering tailored protection strategies to secure their future. In addition to serving families, Scott has also partnered with numerous businesses, helping them develop strategies to reduce healthcare spending while improving benefits for both the company and its employees.
